Al Furjan is really two kinds of job. In the villa and townhouse quarters, clear-outs tend to be large: majlis sofas, outdoor furniture, maid's-room storage and the odd old air-conditioning unit. In the low-rise apartment buildings, the loads are smaller but the route matters more, with lifts, corridors and a short walk to wherever the truck can stop. We ask a few questions up front so the right crew turns up. For a villa we may send a larger team; for a top-floor flat with a single item, two people are usually plenty.
Plenty of Al Furjan residents moved in when their homes were new, and years later the original furniture is ready to go. Swapping out a dining set, replacing worn mattresses or emptying a spare room before relatives arrive are all everyday requests. We take the old pieces away the same day the new ones land, if the timing works, so you never have both cluttering the hallway. Bulky packaging from the new delivery can go on the same truck, which saves you another headache at the end of the day.
Being close to the Jebel Ali and Discovery Gardens side of Dubai, Al Furjan is straightforward for our crews to reach from Al Quoz. On arrival, we carry everything from inside the property, sort what can be recycled such as metal, wood and electronics, and leave the floor swept where the items stood. All we need from you is a clear list and access. If you are renting, it is worth photographing the empty rooms afterwards for your handover records, and we are happy to wait while you do.
